I have been a consumer researcher and brand strategist my entire career. I started in San Francisco in the 1990s working with some of the largest brands in the country.
I moved to the Hudson Valley in 2002 and have been independent ever since.
I believe consumers have experiences, not answers. This means we must be contextual and creative in our exploration.
I believe that what we can learn from these explorations may be small, but the impact of this learning can be monumental.
I believe everyone is creative. It is self-creation, after all, not self-interest that drives markets. It is our responsibility as marketers to honor our customers by listening and attending to them with care.
I live in Hudson, New York with my partner and our daughter.
